We ran six  'Wild Boar' Trails, four  'Rob Roy' trails and three 'Loch and Forest' trails in 2007 with riders from as far a field as Australia, Argentina, as well as many old and new friends from the USA.  Many of these trails were booked to capacity - early booking advisable for 2008 to guarantee a place!

This year we are going to run five  'Wild Boar' trails, four 'Rob Roy' trails and six  'Loch & Forest' trails.

We hope you will come and join us on one of our trails and we look forward to renewing old friendships as well as welcoming new riders to one of Scotland's most adventurous trail rides.

Wanted for 2008!

We are now looking for students, enthusiasts, work experience people, to join our team for the 2008 season. We have around 40 horses and ponies here at Brenfield and will be running 18 full trails and many shorter holidays from April to October 2008.
If you are hard working, flexible and willing to try any of a range of jobs that occur at a busy Holiday Riding Centre, we may have a place for you!  Duties range from mucking out and horse care, to looking after clients, both adult and children, of all nationalities.
There may be opportunities to join the longer trails as assistant to the ride leader, and to lead shorter rides back at the centre, with the potential of gaining BHS and FITE   British Equestrian Tourism qualifications.

You will receive board and lodging and live as part of the family in Brenfield House, taking meals together and sharing in recreational events such as BBQ's  and Ceilidh's ( Scottish folk dancing) often held in the barn at Brenfield.  You will gain an immense amount of valuable experience  with top quality horses, and enjoy the stunning beauty of Scotland's spectacular scenery.

We prefer your stay with us to be a minimum of 3 months, and we have a rigorous policy of NO smoking in the house or yard.

Please contact us  using the enquiry form on this web site   Contact us about jobs
